Alignment Practice
This all-levels class is a rigorous, deliberate practice that focuses on specific placement of the body. Alignment isn’t about rigidity; rather, it is about creating a sustainable practice that grows with you throughout your life.
Class is always sequenced around a peak pose, group of poses, or key actions. In this class you will learn about ancient yoga philosophy alongside the physical practice, and discover how to apply it to life’s daily challenges. You will work hard and at the same time access a level of ease and insight that will feed your heart and soul. Modifications and alternatives will be offered, and please note this is not a therapeutic class.
This class is offered live in studio and on Zoom, and is available via recording.
Ashtanga Yoga
MYSORE AND LED CLASSES
Ashtanga Yoga is a traditional, dynamic method that links breath, movement, and focus. Through consistent practice, it strengthens the body, steadies the mind, and fosters clarity and inner balance. The sequence is the same each day, allowing students to develop awareness, discipline, and a deeper connection to themselves over time.
Mysore-Style Class
In a Mysore-style class, students practice the Ashtanga sequence at their own pace with individual guidance and hands-on support from the teacher. This self-paced approach encourages independence while maintaining the focus and energy of a group setting.
New students are always welcome and are introduced to the sequence gradually, step by step.
Led Class
In a Led Class, the teacher guides the group together through the sequence using traditional Sanskrit counting and verbal cues. Students move and breathe in unison, cultivating rhythm, concentration, and collective energy.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a profound yet subtle practice that invites you to slow down and turn inward. In this style, seated or supine postures are held for 3–10 minutes, allowing the breath to reach the deeper layers of the body—connective tissue, ligaments, joints, fascia and bones. Yin yoga and restorative yoga are often used interchangeably, though they are distinctly different. Yin asks us to stay present with sensation, to breathe into the “stuck” places, and to gently coax them open with patience and attention. This practice offers a powerful counterbalance to the more active (yang) postures found in alignment and vinyasa classes, restoring balance and resilience where it is often hardest to access.
